The place where it all happens – Hamilton.

Hamilton undertook major street renovations – a huge task – in order to accommodate the V8 Supercars racing track, held in April 2008.

The city took on the task of hosting the V8s for economic benefit, and to enhance the city’s reputation.  The economic impact showed to be around 28 million.

39,050 visitors attended the event, a range of corporate, sponsors, media, V8 associations, organisers and screaming fans and viewers.

The ITM400 V8 Supercars race will be held again in April, 2010.
